Meet Dr. Rodney
Dr. Rodney, a native of Brooklyn, NY, has a unique journey that led him to become a passionate and skilled dentist. Surrounded by his uncle's legacy, a respected dentist, and his mother, a dedicated doctor, Dr. Rodney grew up with a profound understanding of health and wellness. This has inspired him to start his own practice, striving to uplift his community through confident, healthy smiles.
Dentistry emerged as the perfect vocation for Dr. Rodney. It seamlessly blended his innate technical skills with his love of working with people of all backgrounds. For him, dentistry is an art form that allows him to sculpt and create beautiful smiles.
Dr. Rodney's academic journey has been marked by excellence. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Rutgers University, providing him with a solid foundation in patient care. This was followed by a Master's in Science from Long Island University, honing his knowledge and expertise. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from the prestigious Howard University College of Dentistry.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Rodney enjoys life to the fullest. He loves exploring the culinary wonders of New York's diverse restaurant scene. An avid music enthusiast, he’s always looking for his next concert. Last but not least, Dr. Rodney is a fan of the NY Knicks and the Dallas Cowboys.

Exceptional Care from Dr. Rodney
Who could ask for more? My visit last night was incredible, to say the least. Dr. Rodney tightened my new custom grills saving me a trip back to where they were made all the way in Brooklyn. In addition to this he filled in 2 cavities and I was lucky enough to get this done without having to be numbed. (Of course he did give me the option but he advised it would not be at all necessary). Mike, the dental assistant was very attentive as usual and listened to my concerns and made me feel very comfortable as he always does. Dr. Pigott entertained my four year old all while this was taking place. He even let her feed the fish which I could hear in the background made her so happy. I drive an hour to this office now that I moved out of Nassau county and I will continue to drive here as I will never ever go anywhere else.
First point of contact, was Catrina (the assistant manager) and Denise (one of the supervisors) they both kept me calm over the phone and were VERY professional with me. I have had, really bad experiences with many dentists prior to this one. They assured me that I would be well taken care of. They did not disappoint! Karen (the assistant) was such a sweetie pie. She talked me through everything while doing my X-Ray. Dr. Rodney is great! I have never received a thorough cleaning in my life. He cleaned my teeth so well; I literally do not know how to act anymore lol. He looked at my X-Ray and went over EVERY problem and listened to ALL of my concerns. He was fast and efficient. The service I received was a cleaning and two fillings. I had a tooth that was very sensitive and gave me headaches. He found a cavity and took it right out. Also gave me something for my sensitive tooth. I Have other appointments and will update this review. :) UPDATE: I received my crown and I absolutely love it! I look forward to fixing more of my teeth with you all! Please come here! They are awesome! I would share pictures but I don’t want to scare anyone with the before lol.
I haven't seen a dentist in 22 years. My experience with Dr. Rodney was simply elegant. The staff members are simply darling and polite. There’s lots of love there. Dr. Rodney explained my process and made exquisite recommendations for my dental care. Larissa explained my process from start to finish on the treatment plan provided. I’m simply elated with the care provided to me. Wonderful Dental Practice.
